It comes in pre-filled syringes with a peel-off sticker for easy recordkeeping. Safety studies on 880 horses showed 98 percent had no reaction after two doses. The vaccine is safe for pregnant mares and horses four months of age or older, with immunity lasting up to 12 months for West Nile Virus.
