The Dare Wood Post Insulator Extender is designed for wood posts to extend fence wire 5 inches away from the post, making it ideal for hogging down over existing field fence while maintaining proper insulation. Strong and sturdy, it is molded from high-density polyethylene with UV inhibitors for long-lasting outdoor durability and features a 5/16" wire opening. The extender comes complete with yellow 10D nails driven 1 3/4" into the post at a 45° angle for superior support and strength.
