Dosage:
Depending upon history of severity of ketosis and upon size (breed) feed at the rate of 0.25 to 0.50 lbs. (4 to 8 oz.) of Propylene Glycol per head per day beginning two weeks before freshening. Continue feeding for 6 weeks after freshening. Mix with feed or use as a drench.
NOTICE: Some cows may not respond to treatment as a result of complicating factors, such as milk fever, hardware, etc. These conditions must be treated in conjunction with the acetonemia. Consult your veterinarian if in doubt.
